Why Volunteer with us at Belsay Horse Trials?
Belsay Horse Trials is one of the most prestigious events on the eventing calendar up North. We take pride in our Northern Hospitality and promise to provide a friendly environment and look after you throughout the day. We are incredibly grateful to all our volunteers who give up their time and we promise you’ll have a fantastic time.
Perks:
– Each volunteer is given a Season entry ticket, to enjoy the days when not volunteering.
– Every volunteer receives a thank you gift from Laura, Organiser of BIHT.
– XC fence judges are looked after throughout the day by Sue Walby and her amazing bun run team. Hot & soft drinks, lunches, baked treats and goodies are offered at various times throughout the day. Other volunteers are looked after by Tory Dodd and team coordinators, with packed lunches, refreshments and treats!
– Volunteers party held on Saturday night, after XC. More information will be provided closer to the event. All volunteers are welcome – Please do join us, even if you aren’t helping on Saturday.
– Every volunteer receives a Belsay season ticket, enabling you free entry to enjoy Saturday’s party and the Horse Trials.
Is Camping Available for Volunteers?
Yes, camping is available. Camping for volunteers is available throughout the week. Toilet and tea/coffee facilities are nearby on site. Hook up is not included (It is available at £125, if pre-booked). To book your slot, please get in touch via email – volunteers@belsayestate.com
