PROJECT PONY ALL STARS AT BELSAY COMPETITION
We were delighted to play host to the very first Project Pony All Stars competition this year. A fantastic initiative designed to encourage interaction and collaboration between the riders, allowing youth riders the opportunity to team up with the stars of the sport they all look up to, but also giving senior riders a chance to meet and encourage the great group of youth riders that are coming through the system.
So…. after four days of International competition, including the British Pony Championships, British Junior Championships, CCI2*L, CCI2*S & CCI3*s, the results are as follows:
FIRST – TEAM ONE
Seniors – Yasmin Ingham & Caroline Basnett
Juniors – Maisy Spratt, Morgan Evenett, Carys Thomas, Toby Roach
Ponies – George Howard, Niahm Reid & Elizabeth Jelfs
SECOND – TEAM TEN
Seniors – Harry Mutch
Juniors – Pippa Moore, Anna Price, George Vergerson-Rowley, Elizabeth Barratt, Ada Marson
Ponies – Clara Wilson & Annie Dean
THIRD – TEAM EIGHT
Seniors – Tyler Cassells & Phoebe Locke
Juniors – Olivia Graham, Annabel Finston, Eva Morby, Emma Shaw
Ponies – Jessica McCaldin, Phoebe Woods & Ella Howard
FOURTH – TEAM SIX

Juniors – Jasmine Underwood, Florence Ashmore, Josh Levett & Sophie Wildern
Ponies – Martha Hall, Florence Wiles & Arabella Henderson
Well done to all our riders, youthful and not quite so youthful (but not old!!) Trying to gather everyone together for team photos during the week was like herding cats, with so much going on at Belsay – however, amazingly, the three teams that we nearly managed to get full photos were all in the top four!
All members of the top three teams, will be contacted to organise delivery of their prizes.
